Crimson Desert fixes missing pre-order bonuses, tells Steam players to restart

Crimson Desert launched with a rocky start, drawing a Mixed rating on Steam and leaving some early buyers without promised pre-order bonuses. Players who pre-ordered, including those who purchased the deluxe edition, reported the Khaled Shield and Kairos attire were missing.

Pearl Abyss acknowledged the problem affecting PC players and wrote that it was investigating the issue, adding, 'We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will get back to you as quickly as possible with an update.' The developer later said the issue had been resolved, posting, 'Steam pre-order purchasers who were unable to claim your pre-order bonus and deluxe pack items: the issue has been solved,' and instructing affected Steam players to 'Please restart your game and check your Add-ons menu to find your items.
