Crimson Desert's PC requirements look promising; devs namecheck ROG Xbox Ally
"Overwhelming, chaotic, madcap." That's how Harvey Randall describes Crimson Desert after spending six hours in it, and Pearl Abyss has just released a full set of fleshed-out PC system requirements. It isn't the first time the specs have surfaced—Corsair previously posted about them—but that earlier write-up was light on details.
The entry/minimum requirements list an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel Core i5 8500 CPU, an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, 16 GB of system memory, and 150 GB of SSD storage. That's on the minimum graphics preset at 1080p upscaled from 900p, targeting 30 fps.
Dropping the upscaling and switching to the Low preset gives the same performance but requires a GeForce GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 6500 XT; the CPU, DRAM, and SSD requirements remain unchanged. Crimson Desert requires an SSD and you'll need a fair chunk of free space, too.
