Cristiano Ronaldo’s private jet leaves Saudi Arabia for Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo’s private jet departed Saudi Arabia for Madrid in the middle of the night as tensions in the region escalated. Riyadh, where he is based with Al-Nassr, has been struck by Iranian bombs amid an intensifying conflict with the United States, and the U.S.
embassy in Riyadh was hit by destructive drones. Iranian state media also claimed a building in Bahrain had been destroyed. The Daily Mail said the flight carried his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, and their five children. A flight tracker shows the Bombardier Global Express spent seven hours in the air, leaving at 8:00pm and arriving in Madrid just before 1:00am after routing over Egypt and the Mediterranean.
Ronaldo bought the Bombardier Global Express 6500 in 2024 for £61 million, having previously sold the Gulfstream G200 he purchased in 2015 for £16 million. The aircraft can carry up to 15 passengers, includes a seating area with tables and sofas, sleeping quarters with a double bed and a separate shower, and is customised with his CR7 logo.
