Cross Season 2 arrives on Prime Video with a hybrid release plan that lets viewers both binge and savor new episodes. The series, adapted from James Patterson's Alex Cross novels, stars Aldis Hodge as forensic psychologist and detective Alex Cross alongside Juanita Jennings, Isaiah Mustafa, Caleb Elijah, Alona Tal and newcomer Matthew Lillard as Lance Durand.

The season totals eight episodes. Episodes 1–3 premiere together on February 11, 2026, then episodes 4–8 roll out weekly on February 18, February 25, March 4, March 11, with the finale on March 18, 2026. Season 2 follows Cross as he investigates the murder of billionaires, building on Season 1, which saw him probe the killing of Emir Goodspeed (Donovan Brown) and search for the person who murdered his wife Maria (Chaunteé Schuler Irving).

The show mixes crime-thriller elements with character-driven emotion and themes around racism, policing, money and power.
