Dakota Mortensen accused of constantly sabotaging Taylor Frankie Paul's life

Several castmates of Taylor Frankie Paul’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives accused her ex, Dakota Mortensen, of repeatedly sabotaging her behind the scenes, a claim that surfaced as ABC canceled Paul’s season of The Bachelorette. The network pulled the season after TMZ published disturbing video showing Paul attacking Mortensen with chairs in 2023 while her 8-year-old daughter, Indy, cried in the background.

A resurfaced clip from a May 2025 episode of The Viall Files features cast members Mayci Neeley and Layla Taylor saying Mortensen would start fights with Paul before major press, leaving her in tears and unwilling to do interviews. Neeley said this happened multiple times ahead of 2024 press events and accused him of sabotaging her opportunities, calling him “a wolf in sheep’s clothing” and suggesting his insecurity drove him to bring Paul down.
