Dakota Mortensen denies Taylor Frankie Paul’s claims after video surfaces
Dakota Mortensen denied Taylor Frankie Paul’s allegation that he had launched a campaign to harm her after a 2023 domestic violence video was released. In a statement, he called the clip “a deeply upsetting situation” and said he is “used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny.” He added that his focus is on their son and his safety and that he hopes Paul will prioritize the same.
The released footage shows Paul hitting and throwing chairs at Mortensen while his then 8-year-old daughter, Indy, cries on the couch. In the clip Mortensen is heard saying, “Your daughter just got hit in the head with a metal chair,” and Paul later tells him, “You did this.
You threw me.” When police arrived, Paul told officers Mortensen had tossed her to the floor before he began filming.
