Dakota Mortensen speaks out after alleged domestic violence incident
Dakota Mortensen’s representative said his top priority is protecting their son, Ever, and that he knew the allegations might become public but did not want to be the one to proactively bring them up. The statement added he had hoped that by saying nothing "it would go away," that he has "never done any kind of sit-down interview about his side," and now recognizes "with the severity of everything" he cannot stay silent.
Filming on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was halted as an investigation into the alleged incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul, 31, and Mortensen, 33, played out. An insider said, "They are not filming" and that Paul has "some pretty serious stuff happening regarding her past," while a Draper City, Utah Police Department spokesperson said "contact was made with involved parties on [Feb.] 24th and 25th" and accusations were leveled "in both directions." The former on-again, off-again couple dated between 2022 and 2024 and share 1-year-old son Ever.
