Dan Bongino to restart his podcast, streaming daily on Rumble
Dan Bongino, the right-wing pundit who stepped down as the deputy director of the F.B.I. this month, announced on Monday that he will restart his podcast, The Dan Bongino Show, on Feb. 2. The show will resume nearly a year after it ceased production while Bongino served a tumultuous stint at the bureau.
The revived program will stream live daily on Rumble, with an audio version distributed to podcast platforms; Bongino said, "I’m excited to get back behind the mic and reconnect directly with the audience." The new version will be released only as a podcast, not as a radio show, and Cumulus Media — which said the earlier iteration was downloaded more than 200 million times in 2023 — will handle the show’s ad sales through one of its subsidiaries.
Bongino rose to prominence during the first Trump administration and previously promoted conspiracy theories, including about Jeffrey Epstein and the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, the article said. He is the founder of The Bongino Report and has hosted a Saturday night talk show on Fox News.
He had no experience at the F.B.I. when President Trump asked him to serve under the agency’s director, Kash Patel, and as deputy director he took part in investigations that debunked claims he had made as a commentator. The report says Bongino distanced himself from a prior claim that pipe bombs planted ahead of Jan.
