Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Teaser Reveals Return of MCU Villain

A new 30-second preview for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 reveals the unexpected return of a fan-favorite MCU villain. The teaser, which sets the second season to debut on Disney+ on Mar. 24, briefly shows Toby Leonard Moore as James Welsey out of focus behind his boss Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) in a car.

Welsey was shot dead at the end of Netflix's Daredevil Season 1, and the clip leaves it unclear whether the moment is a flashback or a retcon. The preview also confirms Royce Johnson is back as Detective Sergeant Brett Mahoney, a sign that the series will reach back to the Netflix era.

Season 2 reunites many familiar faces: Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter / Bullseye.
