Marvel is fast approaching the release of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, its second live-action Disney+ show of 2026. The season returns Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, picking up after Season 1 with Fisk enacting martial law and sending his Anti-Vigilante Task Force to hunt heroes.

As Daredevil builds an army to fight Fisk — including Krysten Ritter’s return as Jessica Jones — Fisk uses every bit of power he has as New York City’s mayor to make life as difficult as possible for Matt and other vigilantes. Showrunner Dario Scardapane and executive producer Sana Amanat spoke about the way the series treats the media.

Scardapane pointed to BB Urich’s BB Report from Season 1 and said the idea of “an autocrat [taking] over the media was super interesting” when Fisk became mayor.
