Daredevil’s Place in the MCU Clarified Ahead of Born Again Season 2
The second season of Daredevil: Born Again arrives on Disney+ on March 24, 2026, and continues to follow Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) as he fights for justice both in and out of the courtroom while remaining Mayor Wilson Fisk's (Vincent D'Onofrio) primary target.
Showrunner Dario Scardapane told SFX Magazine that, while he’d be "into" a larger MCU crossover, the series will mostly stay focused on the small, granular world of Hell’s Kitchen. He stressed that this corner of the MCU has its own crossovers but that the story the show is telling is concentrated and local.
Matt has popped up elsewhere in the wider Marvel continuity — serving as Peter Parker’s lawyer in Spider-Man: No Way Home, appearing in a flashback in Echo, and turning up in Episode 8 of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law — and Fisk previously appeared in the 2021 miniseries Hawkeye.
