Metal Gear Solid’s bandana-furrowing Snake is teaming up with Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher as Rainbow Six Siege’s newest operator. Ubisoft revealed the crossover with a trailer that has the two espionage heavyweights bro-ing out before taking down enemies. The Solid Snake operator arrives in Siege with Operation Silent Hunt on March 3.

The trailer confirms David Hayter, the original voice of Konami’s protagonist, returns as Snake. Fans were relieved, though many wished Sam Fisher could have been voiced by a returning Michael Ironside as well — still not in the budget, apparently. Snake is shown doing stealthy things like hiding around corners, using a silenced weapon, throwing a smoke grenade and handing out takedowns.

Sam Fisher appears at the end; the two embrace Predator-style and Snake quips that 'soldiers like us' never get a moment’s rest as a pager alert pops up. Rainbow Six Siege now has more than 70 operators, with Sam Fisher, codenamed 'Zero,' added in 2020 as part of Operation Shadow Legacy.
