Davos leaders uneasy as Trump, for now, backs off Greenland threats
Leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos remain on edge, Andrew Ross Sorkin, editor at large of DealBook, said, after President Trump, "for now," backed down from threats concerning Greenland.
Sorkin described that the president had threatened to use tariffs or military force to gain Greenland but had, for now, stepped back from those threats.
It remained unclear whether the retreat would be permanent, and leaders continued to be wary, Sorkin said.
