Deadlock players mod in Linguini, Hatsune Miku and LeBron James

Modders have been swapping Deadlock characters for some decidedly odd choices. One popular mod replaces Mo with Linguini and Krill with Remy; because Mo’s proportions differ from Linguini’s, the result is unnerving—Linguini’s arms stretch unnaturally long and he moves on all fours.

A clip shared by FairyColonThree, titled "Vyper was trying to go to heaven, I guess LMAO," shows Linguini slapping another player around, prompting reactions that mix amazement and horror. "What in the Slenderman?" one commenter asked, while another wrote: "Skin walker Linguini cannot be unseen, I am changed forever." Other character swaps are just as strange or playful.

Hatsune Miku has been modded over Bebop so her ultimate becomes a literal Miku Miku beam, Pikachu replaces Seven, and a LeBron James skin for Abrams has been used for months. There’s also a Spider-Man Lash mod that many say looks surprisingly accurate.
