Former Superman star Dean Cain has defended Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents involved in the shooting of ICU nurse Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, Movieweb reported. Cain, who spoke to TMZ, offered a different take from several other celebrities who have commented on the case, including Pedro Pascal, Billie Eilish, Natalie Portman and Jimmy Kimmel.

He said, "I don't know all of the events leading up to this moment. I do know that law enforcement, certainly ICE and Border Patrol, have been under a tremendous amount of pressure and attacks, and they're getting tremendous abuse from what I completely believe is 100 percent organized opposition." Cain also suggested Pretti was not "just being a peaceful protester," saying "it was a very bad idea to engage physically with federal law enforcement while armed," and adding, "He's standing between law enforcement officers and that woman — that's a mistake in its own right.

And doing it while armed is a bad, bad idea." He went on to lay blame on Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, which the report said echoes sentiments of President Trump. Since the December crackdown on immigration in Minnesota, the article says Pretti is the second U.S.
