Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle returns to theaters on March 6 for a one-day re-release across the United States and Canada, with screenings in Japanese with subtitles and in an English dub. Earlier in February the film enjoyed an unprecedented Japanese IMAX rollout — an anime's first time in the premium large-format treatment — but the March engagement will play mainly on standard multiplex screens, except at select SCREENX auditoriums where the action expands across a 270-degree panoramic display.

Infinity Castle debuted last September and became the highest-grossing anime film ever worldwide, reaching $797.3 million. In North America it overtook Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon to become the top-performing international film in the Western market's history, and the rerelease amounts to a victory lap for Crunchyroll and parent company Sony.
