The Department of Homeland Security posted a cellphone video on social media that it said was taken by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot a 37-year-old woman, Renee Nicole Good, on a snowy Minneapolis street. The 47-second clip, published by Alpha News and shared by DHS on X, appears to show the agent getting out of a vehicle, approaching Ms.

Good’s S.U.V., and walking around its hood as a black dog sits in the rear seat. Ms. Good is heard saying, 'That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad,' though the footage does not make clear whom she is addressing. The video pauses as the agent reaches the back of the vehicle and briefly shows his reflection; a woman believed to be Becca Good speaks to the agent and holds up a phone, saying in part, 'U.S.

citizen. Former fucking veteran.' As additional federal agents approach, one is heard saying, 'Get out of the car.' The Honda moves in reverse, then forward; the filming camera suddenly points to the sky and gunshots are heard. The new video does not make clear whether the vehicle made contact with the officer or exactly where he was standing when he fired, and other videos appear to show him just to the side of the vehicle.

The White House and DHS have defended the shooting as lawful self-defense and said Ms.
