Discounted OLED gaming laptops from Acer and Lenovo

OLED gaming laptops have become hard to find at bargain prices, yet two models are currently discounted by several hundred dollars. The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 is $1,250 at Best Buy (save $350), and the Lenovo Legion 5i is $1,399 at Walmart (save $451).

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S pairs a 240 Hz 1600p OLED panel with a 115 W RTX 5060 mobile GPU and a 24-core Intel CPU. It will likely need DLSS (and possibly frame generation) to make the most of that resolution, but the combination of a high-refresh OLED and upgradeable components at this price is notable.

The Lenovo Legion 5i brings an ultra-spec Intel Core i9 14900HX, a 115 W RTX 5070 mobile GPU, and a 165 Hz 1600p OLED display. It ships with 16 GB of DDR5 and a 1 TB SSD; the lower refresh rate compared with the Acer is still plenty for smooth gaming, and DLSS can help in the most demanding titles. Both deals show OLED-equipped gaming laptops can still be found for reasonable sums while discounts last.
