Disney Adds Two New MCU Movies to Phase 7

Marvel's momentum has continued into 2026, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day's trailer becoming the most-viewed in its first 24 hours and strong viewership for the Avengers: Doomsday trailers.

Following Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027, the studio is already mapping out a Phase 7 slate. Some observers see this as a possible beginning of a "Mutant Saga," given the X-Men's growing role across the Multiverse Saga.

Release dates have been shuffled: a film once set for February 18, 2028 was removed from the schedule and a different movie is now slated for July 28, 2028.

Separately, a 2026 release originally scheduled for November 10 was dropped entirely. The calendar for the following year now lists new MCU films on May 4 and July 13, 2029, with further changes expected as plans are finalized.
