DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation arrives in Nvidia App beta on March 31
Dynamic Multi Frame Generation in DLSS 4.5 will reach Nvidia App beta users on March 31. The update raises the top frame-gen count for RTX 50-series GPUs to 6x, made up of five AI-generated frames for every one rendered traditionally, and lets the upscaler change the number of generated frames on the fly.
Set a frame-rate target and the system will adjust generated frames depending on scene demands, aiming to lock fps, sustain high frame rates and smooth out performance dips for a more consistent experience. RTX 50-series owners who want to try the feature will need to enable the beta release via Settings > About.
More than 200 games will be supported at launch, and Nvidia has added 20 more games with native DLSS 4.5 integration, including 007: First Light, Control Resonant, Tides of Annihilation, Gray Zone Warfare, Where Winds Meet and StarRupture. Questions remain about how well the dynamic switching performs in real-world play and whether input latency varies between modes.
