The event pushed DLSS 5 as an AI-driven way to "revolutionise how graphics are made." We got our first look at the tech last night, and the reaction has been mixed.

Kennedy's extra scruff found some fans, the upscaling changes to Grace Ashcroft — higher cheekbones, fuller lips — struck many as a dramatic shift. Nvidia says developers will retain 'artistic control', but the result prompted comparisons to a 'yassification filter' and spawned jokes online, including a Bluesky post that applied the effect to the game's stalking enemy, The Girl.
