New emails released by the Department of Justice show former Prince Andrew invited Jeffrey Epstein to Buckingham Palace days after Epstein finished serving a house arrest sentence in 2010. The files note Epstein pled guilty in June 2008 to charges of solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18 and was sentenced to serve 18 months in a minimum-security prison.

He was released from the facility in 2009 and began serving a house arrest term that ended in August 2010. Weeks later, on Sept. 27, 2010, Epstein emailed Andrew saying he would "need private time," that he was in London with three women, and asking if he should bring them "so as to add some life." According to the released emails, Andrew, listed in Epstein's contacts as "TheDuke," offered Buckingham Palace as a meeting location, saying it would provide "lots of privacy." In one message Andrew wrote, "I am just departing Scotland should be down by 1800.

I'll ring you when I get down if you can give me a number to ring," and suggested they could have dinner at Buckingham Palace. The emails are the latest documents from the DOJ's ongoing disclosure in the Epstein investigation. Earlier releases included a December photo of Andrew sitting alongside Ghislaine Maxwell at Sandringham House and Jan.
