Dune: Part Three trailer teases epic conclusion
Denis Villeneuve’s Dune trilogy moves toward its conclusion with the first trailer for Dune: Part Three, which teases the end of Paul Atreides’ journey that began with the 2021 film and continued in 2024’s Part Two. After two blockbusters met with rave reviews, box office success, and awards, the new footage offers the first glimpse of how the story will finish.
The trailer suggests Paul, played again by Timothée Chalamet, must confront the infinite war he unleashed at the end of Part Two, while Robert Pattinson’s unsettling new villain lurks in the background. Villeneuve co-wrote the screenplay with Brian K. Vaughan, adapting elements of Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel Dune Messiah, and the cast reunites many familiar faces.
Zendaya returns as Chani, with Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, and Jason Momoa back as Duncan Idaho.
