Dust Bunny starring Mads Mikkelsen arrives on digital streaming
Movieweb reports that Bryan Fuller’s fantasy action thriller Dust Bunny, starring Mads Mikkelsen, is now available on digital streaming.
The surreal feature debut follows a young girl who enlists her neighbor, Mikkelsen’s Resident 5B, to kill the monster under her bed as he becomes entangled in a plot involving assassins. The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival in September and opened in U.S. theaters on December 12, 2025 after a limited run, finishing with an approximate $900,000 worldwide box office amid a crowded December slate that included Five Nights at Freddy's 2, Hamnet, The Housemaid, Marty Supreme and Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Dust Bunny is available to rent for $9.99 or buy for $14.99 from digital storefronts such as Apple, Amazon and Fandango at Home. The 106-minute film holds an 84% "Certified Fresh" score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 82% audience rating, was widely hailed as "a must-see monster movie" and "a timeless fairy tale," and the piece notes the digital release could give it a new lease of life.
