The EarFun Air Pro 4+ upgrades the original in several clear ways: adding an ultra-light FeatherBA armature alongside a 10 mm dynamic driver brings noticeably greater clarity and instrument separation. With a little manual EQ tweaking to boost highs and lows, the earbuds move from “pretty great” to genuinely premium-sounding for their price bracket.

That clarity carries over into games, where each in-game sound feels distinct, though the Pro 4+ isn’t as bass-forward or immersive as some rivals, such as the Nothing Ear (a). The armature drivers—originally developed for hearing aids—help explain the improved high-frequency detail and overall definition.

These buds rely on Bluetooth rather than 2.4 GHz wireless, so there’s some inherent latency; Qualcomm’s QCC3091 supports aptX, LDAC, Bluetooth 6 and low-power codecs, and the low-latency game mode makes the delay almost imperceptible for casual play, but it’s not quite ideal for competitive FPS gaming.
