Elijah Blue Allman arrested at New Hampshire prep school

Elijah Blue Allman was arrested Friday evening at St. Paul’s School in Concord, N.H., after police responded to a report of an unwanted male guest “causing a disturbance and acting belligerently” in the school dining hall around 7 p.m. He was booked on two counts of simple assault and one count each of criminal trespass, criminal threatening and disorderly conduct.

Officers later identified the man as Allman, who was taken to Merrimack County Jail, processed and released on his own recognizance. He is expected to appear in court for arraignment at a later date. It remains unclear why he was visiting the school; those familiar with the situation said they had no idea what business he could have had in the area.

The 49-year-old musician, the son of Cher, has publicly struggled with addiction and is primarily based in southern California.
