With CES 2026 about to start, Engadget revisited its best-of-show picks from CES 2025 to check which products shipped, which are still pending and which will return to the show floor. ASUS Zenbook A14: praised for its light, well-made chassis and OLED screen but dinged for weak performance and a high price in a review that scored it 78.

It fell short of challenging the MacBook Air as hoped. BioLite Backup: pre-orders were available at CES 2025. You can reserve one now for $100, with final pricing expected to start around $2,000; BioLite says units will begin shipping this year. Jackery XBC solar shingles: the curved solar tiles that look like regular shingles are now expected to go on sale in the US "very soon," with likely pricing between $1,100 and $1,300 per square meter.

Jackery also teased additional announcements for CES 2026. Lenovo Legion Go S: the Windows 11 variant arrived shortly after CES and met expectations; the later SteamOS model won praise for fast performance, a bright display and SteamOS ease of use when Engadget reviewed it over the summer.

LG OLED evo M5: the flagship impressed with a 165Hz panel, improved image processing and wireless transmission but carries a high $4,300 price; LG typically trickles flagship features to cheaper sets over time. Moonbird Moonbuddy: the screenless meditation and sleep aid for children is available now and currently discounted to $110.42.
