Chelsea recovered to win a Premier League match from two goals down for the first time in their history as Enzo Fernandez's stoppage-time strike gave them a 3-2 victory over West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Jan. 31, 2026, handing manager Liam Rosenior his sixth win from his opening seven games, GOAL reported.

West Ham had dominated the opening 45 minutes, taking the lead through Jarrod Bowen and then doubling their advantage when Crysencio Summerville finished Aaron Wan-Bissaka's cutback, leaving Chelsea's fans booing by the 36th minute. Rosenior replaced Benoit Badiashile, Jorrel Hato and Alejandro Garnacho at half-time with Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella and Joao Pedro.

Fofana's excellent cross was headed home by Pedro — his fifth goal in four games — before Cucurella bundled in from close range to level the match. West Ham came close to retaking the lead when Jean-Clair Todibo hit the post from a few yards out, but late on Pedro's cutback was finished by Fernandez in stoppage time to complete the turnaround.

Todibo was later sent off for grabbing Pedro by the throat after a late melee.
