Erika Jayne says she was in an abusive relationship 'not too long ago'

Erika Jayne revealed on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that she was a victim of domestic violence. Speaking with Denise Richards and Sutton Stracke, the 54-year-old said the abuse was "not with any of my husbands" and described it as "all water under the bridge." She said it happened "not too long ago," occurred more than once, and that after the third time she decided, "This is not for me." Jayne said no one knew it happened and spoke of the shame of having to call 911 while her son is a police officer: "You have no idea how shameful it is to be the mother of a police officer and have to pick up the phone and call 911 and then call your family member and say, 'I think you should hear this from me first before you hear it from anyone else.'" She added, "Look, it stopped at the right time.
