Labrinth declared he was "done with this industry" in an all-caps Instagram post over a black background, blasting his record label and the show. The artist wrote, "F–k Columbia. Double f–k 'Euphoria.' I'm out," and concluded, "Thank you and goodnight." Fans urged him to reconsider, with singer Skylar Grey writing, "Please don't stop making music the world needs you." One viewer added, "You are literally the face of 'Euphoria,' please don't do this to us king," while another wrote, "'Euphoria' ain't s–t without you and so be it.
