Euphoria stars Sydney Sweeney and Barbie Ferreira pay tribute to Eric Dane

The cast of Euphoria is remembering their late co-star Eric Dane following his death on Thursday. Sydney Sweeney reshared a clip from his final video message to his daughters in the Netflix series "Famous Last Words," writing atop the clip, "Forever will love you," with a red heart emoji.

Barbie Ferreira also reposted the clip and added a white heart emoji. Show creator Sam Levinson said he was "heartbroken" over the loss of "our dear friend," calling working with Dane an honor and being his friend a gift, and offering prayers for the family. An HBO spokesperson said the network was deeply saddened, called Dane incredibly talented, noted he worked on three seasons of Euphoria and extended thoughts to his loved ones.

Dane, 53, died after a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. His family said he spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his wife Rebecca Gayheart, and his daughters Billie and Georgia, and asked for privacy; they also highlighted his advocacy for ALS awareness and research and said he adored his fans.
