Even More 'Stranger Things' Spin-offs Are Coming

The original Stranger Things came to an end this week, but creators Matt and Ross Duffer revealed there are more projects in development than fans realized. They offered little detail on what those projects will explore, leaving plenty of room for speculation. Alongside the previously announced live-action spin-off and the animated Stranger Things: Tales from '85, the brothers teased another expansion.

Matt Duffer admitted, "Well, there's one other thing I can't talk about, so I just sort of lied to you, that is also really cool," and said the live-action spin-off is the main focus for now. The franchise has already reached beyond television into comic books, novels and a stage play.

Ross Duffer said, "those are mining the last remaining small gaps in the narrative... So to be able to move forward, we have to build out a new mythology...
