Ever Carradine honors father Robert Carradine in emotional Instagram tribute

Ever Carradine posted an emotional Instagram tribute after her father, Robert Carradine, died Monday. “My dad died today. My sweet, funny dad, who’s only 20 years older than I am, who never missed an opportunity to drive me to the airport or tell me how much he loved my homemade salad dressing, is gone,” she wrote alongside throwback photos.

She described him as “the guy that’s always there,” sharing small, practical memories — drive him to dinner and he’s in, show up at a Little League game in Simi Valley and he knows the time, get a red‑eye and he’ll pick you up from the airport. Ever credited her upbringing with a single dad in Laurel Canyon in the 70s and 80s for helping her feel grounded.

Carradine recalled their 20‑year age gap as something that made them feel like partners rather than parent and child.
