Every Spider-Man Villain in 'Brand New Day'

After months of anticipation, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer has arrived, promising a grounded, street-level chapter for the web-slinger. The footage teases appearances by Marvel heroes such as the Hulk and the Punisher and a broad array of foes drawn from across the MCU.

It remains unclear which antagonist will lead the film’s criminal conspiracy, and some villains might appear only in a montage bridging the four-year gap since No Way Home. Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan, the Scorpion, a character first introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man comics in the 1960s; the trailer shows him suited up and menacing Peter Parker.

Other recognizable faces include Boomerang (Fred Myers) and Tarantula, both likely to surface as smaller threats. Boomerang’s comic history even includes a run-in with Peter Parker as a roommate, though the film’s uses of these characters appear brief.
