'Evil Dead Wrath' Goes Retro With New Filming Update

Evil Dead Wrath, the next entry in the long-running Evil Dead franchise, has entered production. Warner Bros. released a short teaser that leans into retro elements, from the traditional Evil Dead font to ominous horns. Few details are available, but Francis Galluppi, the director of The Last Stop In Yuma Country, is attached.

The film appears set to continue the franchise's recent run of standalone installments and will star Charlotte Hope, Jessica McNamee, Zach Gilford, Josh Helman, Ella Newton, Elizabeth Cullen and Ella Oliphant; none of those actors appear in the casts for Evil Dead Rise or the upcoming Evil Dead Burn.

Warner Bros. is rolling out the franchise ahead of Evil Dead Burn, which is due in theaters on July 24, 2026.
