Evra urges Man Utd to pursue Brazil forward Endrick
Patrice Evra has urged his former club to move for Brazilian teenager Endrick, who is currently starring in France for Lyon while on loan from Real Madrid. After struggling for consistent playing time in Real Madrid’s star-studded forward line, the striker has rediscovered his best form at Lyon, scoring five goals and providing four assists in ten appearances across all competitions.
Evra says the 19-year-old has the physical and technical attributes to strengthen United’s attack following that resurgence. Evra has followed the forward’s progress closely and praised Lyon’s track record with South American talent, citing Juninho as an example.
"If I could sign one striker for Man Utd I would choose Endrick - he would be a great signing," he said. He was also surprised by the striker’s admiration for club legend Sir Bobby Charlton: "I couldn't believe when Endrick said Bobby Charlton was his idol, but wow, that was really surprising.
