Ex-Prince Andrew moves out of Royal Lodge to Sandringham
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has moved out of his 30-room Royal Lodge residence and relocated to the Sandringham estate, the BBC reported. He is said to be temporarily staying at Wood Farm while renovations continue on a more modest permanent home at Marsh Farm, and is expected to return to Windsor in the coming weeks to collect remaining belongings.
It was announced in October that formal notice had been served to surrender the lease on Royal Lodge and that his style and titles had been removed; Buckingham Palace did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The residential change comes amid renewed attention after the Department of Justice released documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, and Thames Valley Police are assessing an allegation said to have occurred at Royal Lodge in 2010.
Friends told Page Six that his daughter Princess Eugenie is struggling with the fallout and that Princess Beatrice has helped with packing where possible.
