Ex-Prince Andrew seen publicly near new home after arrest
Former Prince Andrew was photographed at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk on Saturday, his first public appearance since his February arrest. He walked his dogs alongside a bodyguard and is now residing at Sandringham after being forced to move out of Royal Lodge last month.
He was arrested on Feb. 19 — his 66th birthday — on suspicion of misconduct in public office for allegedly forwarding confidential trade documents to Jeffrey Epstein. He was photographed leaving jail later that evening and has denied all accusations; if convicted, he could face life in prison.
His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, has been described as effectively homeless, staying with friends including Priscilla Presley after losing their royal home and having difficulty finding a place to stay in New York following the revelations. Their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have also been affected, and Eugenie stepped away from her role as a patron of Anti-Slavery International after seven years.
