Morgan Park recounts a solo Marathon run that turned into a prolonged standoff. For seven minutes and 38 seconds they waited in a bathroom at South Relay while an opponent moved through the compound, looting, hacking a wall-mounted vault, and fiddling with inventory.

Sound propagation kept the tension high: every boot step, every pause in the next room was audible. A Thief drone eventually revealed the opponent's shell, but it flew past without checking the corner; Park bashed a vent, dropped into the room, and found the rival perched on a countertop behind closed shutters and claymore traps.

The opponent went DBNO after Park shredded them and two rushing UESC bots, ending the encounter at 7 minutes and 38 seconds and yielding a green backpack, a shield, healing items, and two blue valuables worth a few thousand credits. The haul, Park notes, hardly justified the anxiety, but the win still mattered.
