Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres each scored twice as Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-1 in the north London derby — the second such victory this season — to restore a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League. The Gunners arrived under pressure after their midweek collapse at Wolves, and Manchester City had cut the gap to two points before kick-off with a win over Newcastle.

Arsenal started strongly and opened the scoring when Eze finished after Bukayo Saka's work down the right. Randal Kolo Muani then capitalised on a Declan Rice error to equalise just 24 seconds after the restart, but Arsenal regained control: Gyokeres struck with a thumping finish early in the second half, Eze pounced on a loose ball in the penalty area to make it 3-1, and Gyokeres wrapped up the win in stoppage time from a Martin Odegaard pass.

Player ratings reflected the performance, with Eze and Gyokeres both on 9/10 and goalkeeper David Raya on 8/10.
