Fallout season 3 to add game elements, co‑showrunner teases
Fallout season 3 is on the way, and co‑showrunner Geneva Robertson‑Dworet says it will introduce elements from the games that were left out of earlier seasons. She joked that “The Ghoul is heading to Colorado, ideally, but in the Wasteland, thou shalt be sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time.” Robertson‑Dworet said the character still needs to figure out exactly where he’s going, and noted that Lucy, Max and many other characters are not necessarily bound for Colorado.
The series will unveil new locations next season as it aims to mirror Fallout’s sense of journeying and expanding maps. She added that connecting the show more closely to the games is a core component of the franchise. “There are definitely a few things from the game that we’ve wanted to do since season one.
Now, it’s narratively the right time to get to them – but I don’t want to say more than that and spoil it,” Robertson‑Dworet said. Asked about what’s next, actor Aaron Moten said, “I’m sure there will be more chaos. Much more chaos.
