Fallout season two recently ended and, as one of Amazon's biggest hits, it seems unlikely season three will be far off. Player numbers doubled as a knock-on effect from season two's premiere, and the show has had an even bigger impact on game sales than first realized.

Data from reseller G2A.com, first noted by MCV UK, tracks Fallout PC sales across the two years the show has been running. Season 1 triggered a massive acquisition spike, while sales through 2025 stabilised at a baseline significantly higher than the pre-series era.

In the month immediately before Season 2's premiere, sales volume was 78% higher than the average monthly volume of the previous quarter, and interest between seasons remained multiple times higher than the early 2024 baseline. G2A is only one digital outlet and has faced criticism from publishers, but other metrics reflect the same pattern.
