Family Guy spin-off starring Stewie Griffin is happening at Fox

Fox has greenlit a two-season spin-off titled Stewie that will center on the youngest and most scheming Griffin. The series is expected to premiere on Fox in the 2027–28 season, stream the next day on Hulu, and be available internationally on Disney+; Seth MacFarlane will continue to voice Stewie.

The new show follows Stewie after he is expelled from his preschool and forced into a new, less-than-top-tier establishment. He meets unfamiliar classmates and a 75-year-old class turtle with wild theories, and after everyone loses their minds Stewie brings in advanced devices to travel through space and time with his castmates.

Stewie is planned as a more serialized story across its first two seasons, telling one full adventure for the character while not impacting his status in the main Family Guy continuity.
