Family Guy's Stewie is getting his own spinoff series

Twenty-seven years after Family Guy premiered, Fox has ordered a two-season spinoff focusing on Stewie. Deadline shared the series, simply titled Stewie, will debut on Fox during the 2027-2028 season and stream the day after for international audiences on Disney Plus and Hulu.

Seth MacFarlane will reprise the role and serve as executive producer alongside Kara Vallow and Kirker Butler, with Butler as showrunner. The animated comedy follows Stewie's adventures in preschool as he explores time and space. The show centers on Stewie enrolling in a new preschool after being kicked out of his old one; the new school reportedly includes a 75-year-old class turtle and otherwise isn't all that great.
