Fans Give 'House of the Dragon' a Second Chance After 'A Knight' Finale

After the widely praised finale of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, viewers have been returning to House of the Dragon, sending it back into HBO Max’s top 10 in several countries.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms follows Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg. The new series recently wrapped its first season and earned widespread acclaim from fans.

House of the Dragon first arrived in 2022; its debut season received mostly positive reviews, while Season 2 drew criticism for being too short and for ending without a fully satisfying conclusion.

HBO released the first teaser for House of the Dragon Season 3 a few weeks ago and confirmed the show will return this June, with an exact date yet to be announced. The second season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is scheduled for next year, followed by the fourth and final season of House of the Dragon in 2028. The first two seasons of House of the Dragon are available to stream on HBO Max.
