Fans quickly turn Overwatch Sanrio skins into cosplay

I immediately folded the moment Sanrio announced a collaboration with a game — I’ve loved Hello Kitty and friends since childhood. The latest crossover is a substantial one: Overwatch received six Sanrio character-themed skins for six different champions. Tiktok user enyaarwyen cobbled together a Kuromi-inspired Widowmaker, swapping the in-game white cat-eared beanie for a fluffy cat-eared hat and committing to the blueish-purpley painted skin that seals the look.

The Sanrio x Overwatch outfits are fairly realistic rather than covered in prints, which makes them easier to pull together from everyday wardrobe pieces; toffee.apple.cosplay says the collaboration even dragged them back into Overwatch and revived their interest in cosplaying.
