Fast Food CEOs Are Engaged in an Online Burger-Eating War
Last week McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski, who posts as Chris K, posted a video of himself taking a very tiny bite of the chain’s new Big Arch burger. The clip went viral after viewers mocked the small bite and his apparent lack of enjoyment, turning the CEO into an online character.
Burger King responded by posting an older TikTok clip on March 4 of its president Tom Curtis taking a large chomp of a Whopper, then wiping sauce from his face and saying the only thing it needs is a napkin. Wendy’s US president Pete Suerken later shared a video in which he takes a big bite, apparently finishes the whole burger, and dips a fry into a milkshake.
