Final day to get 50% off 1Password Individual and Families plans

1Password is offering 50% off its subscription plans for new customers, cutting the Individual plan to $24 per year and the Families plan to $36 per year.

The Families plan covers five additional people but is otherwise nearly identical to the Individual plan. The discounted price applies for one year; subscribers should set a reminder to cancel or reassess before the price returns to normal.

The sale is ending today — Tuesday, December 30, 2025 — so interested buyers need to act quickly.

Engadget named 1Password its top password manager, praising its intuitive interface and broad platform support, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, macOS, iOS, Windows and Android.

Subscriptions include industry-standard encryption, a user-known "secret key" in addition to a master password, two-factor authentication and alerts for potentially compromised credentials.

Although 1Password recently raised prices, this remains a strong deal for the service. The main downside is there is no free version.
