Prime Video unveiled the final trailer for The Boys Season 5, which is set to premiere on Apr. 8. Nearly seven years after the show's 2019 debut, the clip sets the stage for a gnarly conclusion even as the franchise continues with spin-offs and an upcoming prequel.

The story picks up where the previous finale left off, with Hughie, Frenchie, and Mother's Milk imprisoned in a "Freedom Camp." The trailer shows Butcher rallying the team, with Starlight and A-Train joining the fight, as he prepares to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map; Homelander and his loyal Supes army stand in their way, and the footage promises plenty of blood and no one guaranteed safe from untimely demise.

The season brings back the main cast, including Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Antony Starr as Homelander, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Erin Moriarty as Starlight, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Tomer Capone as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Colby Minifie as Ashley, and Cameron Crovetti as Ryan.
