First look at Ella Purnell in Season 2 of Sweetpea

Starz has released a first look at Ella Purnell as Rhiannon in Season 2 of Sweetpea. Purnell followed back-to-back breakout turns in Yellowjackets and Prime Video's Fallout, leaving Yellowjackets after her character’s death before joining Fallout and then the Starz series.

The new season finds Rhiannon Lewis routinely overlooked—passed on the street, passed over for promotion, stuck with an uncommitted love interest and a seriously ill father. When everything in her life flips, she snaps and loses control; the wallflower disappears, replaced by a young woman who discovers a new, intoxicating power and must try to keep her killer secret.

Season 1 was a reimagined prequel to CJ Skuse’s books, exploring what drove Rhiannon to become a killer rather than beginning with her already transformed. Critics responded positively—Sweetpea sits at 88% on Rotten Tomatoes—and the series, produced by Sky Atlantic in the U.K.
